Quality Control Inspector (Level 1)

Quality is in everything we do at AOTCO. Quality Control inspectors are responsible for maintaining compliance to the specifications and internal guidelines that AOTCO has implemented as well as reviewing orders at multiple stages to ensure conformance. This can range from simple inspections to complex interactions with other departments to improve and enforce quality when needed. As Inspectors gain experience, they will be able to take on more advanced parts of the quality process and be promoted to more complex areas of quality

Responsibilities:

• Inspection of Incoming, Anodize, Hardcoat, Passivate, Electropolish, Chem Film
• Use of X-Ray, Isoscope, Micrometer, basic blueprint reading/interpretation, water immersion/copper sulfate testing Certification sign offs
  

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• US Citizenship
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year general inspection work

Requirements:

• Basic math skills
• Have a problem-solving mind set
• Work well in a team environment as well as being able to work independently
• Knowledge of job safety procedures
• The ability to read and comprehend customer requirements, standard operating procedures, quality systems, tools and specifications
• Effective communication skills
• Work well under pressure
• Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, Office)Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Multitask without losing sight of your goals
