MIL-C-5541 is the Military spec for Chemical Conversion Coatings. The spec includes 2 types (I and II) and 2 classes (1A and 3).
Note: All applications of Mil-C-5541 have been superseded by Mil-DTL-5541 except Mil-C-5541 revision F for Hexavalent Chromate.
