Originally discovered in 18^th-century Brazil and deemed “Oruo Podre” or “Worthless Gold”, Palladium, and its full list of chemical and physical properties, weren’t officially documented until the early 1800’s when UK scientist William Wollaston was experimenting with Platinum. Named after recently discovered asteroid at the time “Pallas”, Palladium has seen continued use to this day, throughout a wide range of manufacturing industries.
