Nadcap - the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program - is a global program.  It is designed to set standards for aerospace engineering, defense, and other related industries. At AOTCO, we’re proud to wear this certification. To us, it means we’re doing the most we can to provide our customers with high-quality products. As a Nadcap certified gold plater, we work hard to meet and exceed both standards and expectations of all our customers.

What is Nadcap?

Nadcap is one of the first organizations of it’s kind. It was born as a way to combine the knowledge of global aerospace and defense industry professionals and government officials to develop and set standards to both improve quality and lower costs. Additionally, it served as a way to streamline the process of vetting suppliers, saving money across the industry. By boasting this, we are making a promise to commit to only using high-quality materials and procedures, and refusing to cut corners. Our certifications include both Aerospace Quality System and Chemical Processing.

How Do You Become Certified?

So how did we join this elite group? Our experienced staff has spent years perfecting our processes to be as efficient as possible while exceeding expectations. An auditor from the Performance Review Institute (PRI) then visited our plant and reviewed our standards and asked questions to ensure we met their qualifications. The audit analyzes our materials as well as processes and knowledge to make sure we know what we’re doing.

In addition to this commitment, being a Nadcap certified gold plater allows our professional, experienced staff access to a variety of government and military projects. Here at AOTCO, we’re experts in lots of things. We’re proud to be able to support our government and military as a Nadcap certified gold plater.
