Materials and Substrates at AOTCO

feature image

Metal finishing in Massachusetts from AOTCOAt AOTCO, we pride ourselves in our ability to produce high quality goods and services for a reasonable price. To that end, we offer a wide variety of substrates and materials for electroplating and metal finishing. We can achieve 300 degrees centigrade and, in some cases, reach 450 degrees after plating. Naturally, the variation in temperature is dependent on the chemical and metallurgical characteristics of the base materials that are worked. One of the advantages of this kind of metalworking is that it allows for high temperature soldering which, among other things, can expand and broaden the materials available for soldering to create first class technology of the highest quality quickly and efficiently. The same is true for high temperature brazing techniques, if tighter controls over the joint or dissimilar metals are required.

If you require any specialized applications, we will be more than happy to assist you. We also have a nearly exhaustive list of substrates on our website under the Materials/Substrates section. We have extensive experience working with each of those materials and can further your goals or projects using a wide variety of metals and metal alloys. If you require any services using the metals that are not on the list, do not hesitate to speak with us about your needs. As a sophisticated and consumer oriented company we, as mentioned previously, pride ourselves in working with new materials. Should there be any question about the research being done into different metal working techniques at our facility, we are always willing to furnish samples for your approval. We can even offer our assistance prior to new product design to better facilitate and utilize our extensive experience in these matters. We may be able to save you a great deal of time and money in the process.
